What does your ‘brand’ mean to you? Do you jump to that brand board in your Canva account with your fonts + colors?
Branding is one of the first things we tell new entrepreneurs right!? I mean brand from the beginning, be the face of your brand, branding is key… but do we really talk about the PURPOSE of our brand? I mean beyond the psychology of the brand colors. I mean why we do what we do. The STORY. The CLARITY. The SECRET SAUCE that only your brand can have.

Today, I’m going to share with you why your PURPOSE should be the very first thing you clarify in your business, and exactly what do to with it!
Why do we need purpose in our brand?
“Without purpose, there is no productive” a wise girl once said that. And that girl was me. You can’t be productive if you’re wandering around aimlessly. There has to be a purpose. A goal. A message. An intention. Think of it like this –
If you pick up sticks in your yard all day, you may have completed a task… but if your goal for the day was to clean the house were you actually productive?
Completing random tasks without a clear purpose or goal in mind isn’t going to take you where you want to go – we need to establish our purpose. This purpose gives us 3 things in our business :
1. Motivation
When you know WHY you do what you do – you can remind yourself WHY you’re showing up. Even when it’s hard and doesn’t feel worth it. You can fall back to your WHY.
2. Strategy
The above analogy proves this. If we know our purpose, we can create a productive plan with the ‘right‘ things. If we don’t have a clear purpose, we end up falling into the ‘all the things’ trap and spending way too much of our time doing things that don’t work.
3. Your Secret Sauce
It is no secret that thousands of people do what you do. And as you’re working your business – it can get overwhelming. Have you ever asked yourself, ‘what’s the point.. the market is saturated’? When you are really connected to YOUR PURPOSE – while there are others who do what you do.. there is ONLY one of you.
Your energy + voice cannot duplicated.
They can steal your recipe, but their sauce won’t taste the same.
The clarity key in your business is your purpose. Live your purpose, own your journey, and use your voice – that is when the strategy will start paying off!
