You are what you think you are – you may not actually be what you think you are – but have you ever heard of a self fulfilling prophecy.. Somewhere deep down – your mind hears what you’re telling yourself and you work to that level.
This is why MINDSET is the first part of a GAME Plan strategy to uplevel your life – and to move from surviving to thriving.

Henry Ford said “Whether you think you can or you can’t, you’re right”. Take a look at successful people – it is when they stopped doubting themselves that success showed up. Do you think Micheal Phelps entered any of those races and thought – I doubt it will happen.. HELL NO. He was super sure he was taking home the gold.
It doesn’t matter if the gold you’re looking for is a 6 figure income, or a chaos managed home.. Mindset is the place to start!
As mamas, we have 5 common mindset obstacles, and today I’m going to tell you what those are – AND – how to push past them –
5 Common Mama Mindset Obstacles
1. Inner Voice / Self Dialogue : Learning to go from I’m Not > I AM.
Be honest.. First thing you said to yourself when you looked in the mirror this morning – were you complimenting yourself, or criticizing yourself. When you forget to send in your kid’s permission slip on time, and you have to run it last minute to the school – what do you say to yourself?
Learning to talk to yourself as a cheerleader INSTEAD of a critic will change your outlook on your ability. Check out my post about the 6 Things You Should Say To Yourself Everyday.
2. Self Doubt / Limiting Beliefs : Going from I Can’t > I CAN, I WILL, I DID.
Have you ever had a conversation with yourself that goes like this..
Self : ”I want to {insert goal here} ”
No One :
Self : “But you won’t, you won’t {insert limiting belief here}
Basically, in the above conversation all within 30 seconds – you’ve written yourself off… What if instead, the conversation went like this…
Self : “I want to {insert goal here}
Self : “Ok, so what’s the plan – HOW”
Self : “I will {insert the plan here}
Self : “Hell yea, let’s do this”
And then you went and did the thing – what changes would you see in yourself?

3. Body Image : Learning to take care of your body because you love it, not because you hate it.
Body image is such a personal thing, and women are their own worst critics.. Don’t believe me, give a woman a compliment — see if she argues with you! You have to learn to LOVE the body you are in RIGHT NOW. If you can’t love the skin you are in now – no amount of change will ever be enough. Check out my blog about Rewording & Refocusing here.
4. Mom Guilt : Learning to be ok with being mom & you.
It’s no doubt that your kids are your entire heart. They are your reason for everything – and when you feel less than perfect, you are harder on yourself than is warranted. You need to learn the different kinds of mom guilt – and how to manage each one. Don’t let your kids be your excuse, but allow them to be your REASON to push.
5. Excuses : Instead of creating excuses, create fuel.
When you manage the other mindset obstacles – some of the excuses dissipate with them. But instead of allowing yourself to create excuses – turn that excuse energy into fuel. Fuel to do the thing.. Because mama you can do whatever you put your mind to.
