Let me say this, when I start talking all about balance up on the social channels – I get hammered. In the comments, in the DMs – someone is always ready to tell me the heck off – because they don’t think balance is possible.
Let me also say this. It is.
Balance is completely possible. But not for all the things.
Here’s the difference in the two. You can create a balance that suits you, your life, and your goals – but you can’t balance doing everything. You can’t have balance without priorities, boundaries, and sacrifices. You don’t find balance. You work to create balance. And balance doesn’t come every day. It doesn’t look like a 50/50 split scale with 3 apples on both sides. Balance looks like constantly creating a plan with intention.

I’m super passionate about teaching women to balance out their WEEKS. You’ll never balance each day – and thinking that you’ll check it all off every day will only make you frustrated. Just go on and let yourself off the hook today – you can’t check it all off everyday. So let’s just talk about the week.I
f you set your life up to function on a monthly + weekly basis there are a few different pros.
- You aren’t planning so far out you’re going to be constantly making changes
- You can create a plan that adapts to the change that will happen
When I’m teaching any client about intentional time strategies – talk about Purposeful Planning.
Your purposeful plan always starts with priorities. If you’re new here – I use a CORE 4 structure to create a priority based life. I focus on 4 key areas in my life (mine are self, family, business, and home). I know these areas come first – and I plan accordingly.
I know that sometimes one of those CORE 4 will dominate the others – and which one dominates changes on a regular basis. If I’m launching something – or in a mastermind season… work may take more time. During vacations or special family times – family takes the dominate role. If I know these things are happening – I can be prepared for them. And I don’t have to be overwhelmed. I can plan for it – not react to it.
That’s what balance looks like – maybe more work on Wednesday, but all family all weekend. Home is done on Mondays – and work is just the basics. I have several resources to help you get started on creating a Purposeful Week Plan.
- Planning a Purposeful Week Freebie
- CORE 4 Masterclass
- The Purposeful Week Workshop (coming in June 2021)
I also help my 1:1 clients set up a purposeful week structure so they can be their most productive and priority based self. If you’re ready to do the thing – join me in one of these opportunities. Let go of the overwhelm – and plan for success!!Until Next Time,
