Balance is a buzz word, a hot button topic – and in my opinion not taken seriously enough.
If you want to feel less overwhelmed, less burned out, and less ‘hot mess’ you’re gonna wanna read this – and take it all in.

Balance is the key to feeling a sense of fulfillment.
You weren’t created to be ‘just‘ anything. You aren’t just a mom. You aren’t just a wife. You aren’t just a business owner. You are a whole being. A whole human – and you deserve to balance out your entire purpose.
But when it comes to balance this idea that it is somehow a 50/50 split of about 1,000 different priorities is how its done… well it is bull sh!t.
First off, let yourself off the hook – you can’t balance all the things.
I created a signature system that allows you to create balance and live your purpose – it is called CORE 4. And that is the first step to creating balance.
Three Steps to Creating Balance
1. Priorities
Go back to your CORE 4. When you choose a CORE 4, you are intentionally stating your priorities. You can’t balance ‘all the things‘, but you can balance out your CORE important priorities. The CORE 4 get your focus, your attention, and your time first. Anything else has to wait.
2. Boundaries
In order to balance your priorities – you have to set boundaries. These boundaries are both internal & external. You have to set boundaries externally like telling others – NO.
Internally boundaries look like discipline – things like putting your feet on the floor and getting it done, and not chasing shiny squirrels but keeping your eyes on the prize (or CORE 4).
3. Plan
After knowing your priorities & your boundaries you can create your plan. Don’t focus too much on the day to day – it is impossible to keep balance daily.. but take a step back and look at your balance over all. Look at weeks and even months to keep your balance in check.
Systems like time blocking can help you create a balanced structure in your week – and help you to keep those priorities and boundaries in check.
Is balance something you are craving in this new year?
Every single week in the On Purpose Entrepreneur Club, I am helping female entrepreneurs grab hold of balance and create a plan that works for them!
We’d love to have you!
